Brenda was born to Ruby C. Johnson, Jr. and Nancy C. (White) Johnson at Lajes Air Force Base, Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal. She died in Sherman, Texas.

On 20 October 1982 she married David. R. Davis.

Mrs. Davis owned and operated One Stop Specialty Shop in Sherman for over 30 years.

An Angel lived among us, now she's gone to Heaven. Beloved wife, loving mother, grandma, daughter, sister, auntie, friend and mentor.
Brenda always opened her heart and arms to all. Her caring, giving and trusting ways will always be remembered.
Her most joyful time of the year was Christmas. She brought joy and smiles to kids of all ages. Her special gift of baking with Love, all her candies, cookies and cakes made you feel special on this Holiday and everyday

She was preceded in death by her father Ruby C. Johnson, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Lorene and RC Davis; and one granddaughter, Nevaeh Carol Davis.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy C. Johnson of Sherman; husband David R. Davis; three daughters, Debra Fahrenkrog and Dwayne Sheren, DeAnn Davis and Renite Davis all of Sherman; two step-sons, Vick Davis and his wife Donna and Brett Davis all of Denison; six sisters, Faye Steele and husband William of Sadler, Cecilia Finch and husband Marty, Nancy Hansley and husband Ron , Ida Condo and husband Kevin all of Sherman , Bobbie Hawkins and husband Jimmy of Burneyville, Oklahoma, and Andrea Van Dorn and husband Phil of Stillwater, OK; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and six special friends, Minga and David Medrano, Sheila and Greg Benton and Jerry and Terri Fahrenkrog.

Cremation arrangements under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.
