GAUTIER - Jesse Edwin Rockafellor II, 82, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, in Gautier.
Mr. Rockafellor was a native of West Los Angeles. He was a WWII veteran, a retired aircraft engineer, and an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Edwin Rockafellor and Elizabeth Ellen Sweeny; his brother, Gene Rockafellor; and his sisters, Naida Vandenberg, Evelyn Veditz and Mary Benjamin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Alma Miller Rockafellor of Gautier; five sons Jesse Rockafellor III of Poway Calif., Victor Rockafellor of Kingman Ariz., Don Rockafellor of Westminster, Calif., Ray Rockafellor of Pascagoula, and Richard Rockafellor of Colorado Springs, Colo,; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at the Rockafellor home. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs. Burial is in the cemetery. Arrangements were made by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier.
