Buck Brown, 24, was killed last Thursday by a fall from an American Telephone and Telegraph tower at Tallassee, Ala.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Shady Grove School with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery directed by Smith Funeral Home.

Born November 11, 1941, at Talihina, Brown lived at Checotah 16 years and attended Checotah High School. He moved to Tallassee about a month ago where he was a steel company employee.

Survivors include his wife, Martha of the home; a daughter, Saundra; two sons, Buck Jr. and Leslie Ray: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brown of Checotah; two brothers Elmer of Checotah and Eugene of Oklahoma City, and a sister, Mrs. Wanda McDaniel of Alaska.
