John B. Rodgers, 82 of Cowansville RD 1 died at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday (Jan 22, 1963) at his home. He received body burns when his cloths caught fire from an open stove in his home. Mr. Rodgers was a life-long member of the Sherrett Methodist Church. Surviving are a son Robers A. Rodgers of Cowansville RD 1; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Bernard of Cowansville RD 1, Mrs. Eleanor Allaman of Seneca RD 1; 12 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the family home after 7 this evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sherrett Methodist Church. Rev. James Kamerer, church pastor, will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, is in charge of arrangements.
