Lucretia Ann Cooley passed away at the family home 1603 Virginia Street, Saturday morning at 9:30, due to cerebral embolism. She was born Jul 17, 1848, in Hamilton county, Ohio, the daughter of Susan Elizabeth and Alexander Meek. She came to Indiana with her parents at age 9 and settled near Clark's Hill. She united in marriage March 7, 1864 to Moses H Cooley, and he died in 1890. She was the mother of 7 children, 2 living. She has seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs John Braden of Lewistown, Illinois, and 2 brothers James Meek of Cantiin , Illinois.
