ELWOOD- Vannie L. Dever, 83, of 2334 S. A St., died Wednesday morning at the Dickey Nursing Home. She was born March 12, 1885 in Tipton County, the daughter of Jacob & Matilda Julius. She was married to Andrew Jack Dever who died in 1945.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Davenport, Elwood; Mrs. Mary Mason, South Bend; and Mrs. Beulah McGuire, Bradenton, Fla; one sister, Mrs. Louie Shaw, Elwood; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Copher and Fesier Funeral Home Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call after noon, Thursday.
