Death of Mr. G. W. Timberlake
Mr. George W. Timberlake, who was for a long time a merchant doing business on Brook avenue, of late years Clerk of the Second Market, died yesterday. Deceased was widely known, was an open-hearted, generous soul and deserved the host of friends who clung to him during life.
Mr. Timberlake was sixty-six years of age. He was a member of St. John's Lodge A.F. and A.M., Hines Lodge, K.P., the Odd-Fellows, and West-End Beneficial Society.
His funeral will take place from Clay-Street Methodist church this afternoon at 5 o'clock.
