GG-Grandma Pennie was the daughter of Edward WEST and Salatina GEIGER. She married William Robert MAY on 15 June 1865 in Caldwell Parish LA. They had 10 children: Benjamin Quillie, John Williams, Robert Ivy, Marylou Ella, Onie Evelyn, Saint Elmo Lafayette, Francis Samaantha Idella, Dudley Mayfield, Dottie Caladonia & Joseph Cooley MAY.

She was known to be a beautiful woman and had written the names and birth dates of her children in her family hymnal. She and GG-Grandpa Bob died owning all of the property "free of debt." They were farmers.
