Axtyn Phoenyx Short, infant son of Brandin and Rebekah "Becka" Short, born July 16, 2011, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his home at the age of 2 months and 5 days. Axtyn is survived by his mother, Becka Short of Quinton; father, Brandin Short of Quinton; three brothers, Lane, Christian and Brandin, Jr., maternal grandparents, Tommy and Kay Scott of Bache; maternal grandfather, Rusty Clifton of McAlester; maternal great grandmother, Metha Scott of Arch Community; maternal great grandparents, Gene and Barbara Bullard of Alderson; maternal great grandparents, Fred and Wynona Clifton of Scipio; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jeanette Mullins of Quinton; paternal great grandparents, Nate and Judy Hammer of Kiowa; paternal great grandfather, Buddy Short of Stuart; Aunts and Uncles, Dustin Clifton, Jerry Mullins, Jr., Amber Crist, Monica Bailey and Misty Hawkins and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and other family. He was preceded in death by paternal great grandmother, Dessie Clifton. The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Tannehill Cemetery Pavilion, Tannehill Community, Oklahoma with Rev. Arty Hearod officiating. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be Mike Chlebik, Dustin Clifton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Nick Clifton.
