Betty Louise Bullock Finlayson, 60, died Sunday, August 14, 1988 at her home in Provo of cancer.
She was born October 20, 1927 in Pleasant Grove to Irving and Cora Carlsen Bullock. She married Don James Finlayson, September 4, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many positions including ward and stake MIA, Relief Society presidency, Primary and Sunday School. She was a visiting teacher for the Relief Society and the ward librarian.
She was active in PTA, while her children were in school.
She is survived by her husband, Provo; two sons and three daughters, Don Craig and Wayne B., Pleasant Grove; Karen F. Burningham, Provo; Kaye F. Reynolds, Provo; Janet F Stonehocker, Cherry Grove, Alberta, Canada; three brothers, Kenneth C. Bullock, Cecil Bullock, and Glade Bullock; 18 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Edgemont 7th Ward Chapel, 555 East 3230 North, Provo. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or at the church Thursday one hour prior to service.
Burial in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
