SANTA FE - Carolyn Ann Adair, 64, of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adair was born July 28, 1941, in Galveston, Texas. She was a homemaker and involved with Dana's Dance and Gymnastics. She was a member of the Galveston County Democrats.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Robert Adair, of Santa Fe; son Scott Adair and wife Sarah of Santa Fe; daughter Andrea Higgins of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Justin Landry, Karlin Higgins, Blake Adair, Brooke Adair and Kylie Higgins.

Pallbearers will be Justin Landry, Jeff Lamar, Rodney Shaver, David Adair, Chip McConnell and Alan Eernisee. Honorary pallbearers are Earl H. Hooper, Blake Adair, Karlin Higgins, Brooke Adair and Kylie Higgins.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Kelly Patterson and Shirley Hertenberger and Dr. Dell Braunsdorf.
