1918 - Obituary Jane E. (Schoonover) McClyman Bloss: Mrs. Jane E. Bloss was born at Easton, Wis., Nov. 8, 1860. Died at her home in New Chester, Aug. 19, 1918, aged 57 years, 9 months and 11 days.
Jane E. Schoonover was married to James McClyman, April 20, 1880. To them were born four children: Wallace, Ulysses, Libbie and Andrew. Their father died Jan. 18, 1894.
Jane E. McClyman was married to Geo. E. Bloss, March 14, 1898. To them were born two children, Carl and Vera. Mr. Bloss died Dec. 21, 1911.
Mrs. Bloss was nearly helpless for about ten years. She suffered a great deal, but was patient and cheerful ever. She was cared for mostly by her faithful son, Andrew, who did all he could to aid and please her.
Funeral services were held in New Chester church by Rev. Bennet of Oxford, and was laid to rest in the cemetery at New Chester.
She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren, one brother and one sister. Also a large circle of friends.
