DAVIS, Hershel Ralph, a native of Tippah County, MS. He was a veteran of the US ARmy6, entering the service April 26, 1944. He received his training at Camp McCain, MS, Camp Polk, La and went overseas December 9,1944 to England, France, Germany, Phillipine Islands. Veteran of WWII.He was with the Combat Engineers, 4th Army and was awarded EAME ribbon and A-P ribbon. He was discharged May 16, 1946 at Ft. Devens Mass. He attended Manning School and married to Sally Ela Stanford Davis. He had no children.
