"C. Gilmer Fuqua, 73, of 3126 Porter St., died at a local hospital today. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louisa Barrett Fuqua; a daughter, Mrs. Rodeny E. Hodges; a granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Alma M. Bolton; two brothers, Charles N. and Percy C. Fuqua, of Pittsburgh, Pa. The body is at Morrisett's Funeral Home, where services will be held Sunday at 4 P. M. Interment will be in Maury Cemetery. Mr. Fuqua was a retired foreman for P. Lorillard Co. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, No. 14, AF&AM, and of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, and formerly served as a church clerk and deacon for many years.
