Owen Mulholland, progenitor of his family was born in Armagh County

They were the parents of 14 children. After Owen died, Bridget and her
nine living children sailed from Ireland to Kingston, Canada. In 1866 they
came to the United States and settled near Paris, Michigan. Bridget is
buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Big Rapids, Michigan. Names of the
nine children are: Charles Mulholland, Clarence Mulholland, Ellen Mulholland
(last heard in St. Louis, Missouri), Edward Mulholland (Jackson, Michigan),
Patrick Mulholland married Isabelle Purdue in Perth, Canada. Bridget Mulholland
