He was born in the town of Brothertown, April 7, 1900, the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Kuehnl Rott. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in Jericho and was employed for more than 25 years with the Carnation Milk Company in Chilton. He never married.
Mr. Rott was a veteran of World War II and served in Africa.
He is survived by seven sisters, Mrs. Jacob Friederichs, Mrs. August Ritzke and Mrs. Wenzel Wenig, all of Chilton, Mrs. Math Friederichs of Eden Valley, Minn., Mrs. Frank Nellessen of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Rose Burg, Breckenridge, N. D., and Mrs. Albert Krupp, St. Anna.
Funeral services were held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, and at the Holy Trinity Church, Jericho, with Rev. Ronald Reimer, pastor officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
