Juanita Cox, 60, died Tuesday in Cox Medical Center after a 3 month illness.
A native of Buffalo, MO, Mrs. Cox had lived here for 42 years. She was employed by Sears Roebuck as an interior decorator. She had worked there for 17 years. Mrs. Cox was past president of the Springfield Council of PTA, and the Springfield Chapter of the American Cancer Society. She was a member of the Hamlin Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Nell Vaughan; a son, Mike; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Maddux and Willa Jean Long; two brothers, Oren Gann, and Fred Gann; and three grandchildren.
