Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m, Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, of which he was a member, the pastor, the Rev. A. H. BoutwelL officiating. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Minnie A. Mitchell, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Varian Steele of Williamsville; two brothers, Otis and Charley Mitchell of Ithaca, and two sisters, Mrs. Ira Myers of the Town of Ithaca and Mrs. Caroline A. Williams of River Forest, Ill.
Mr. Mitchell was a member of Lodge 71, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Hawthorn Rebekah Lodge 163, IOOF, Iroquois Encampment 16 and Past Grands Council 7, IOOF.

Funeral services for Omer L. Mitchell of 213 Pleasant St., who died Sunday, January 28, 1940, at Memorial Hospital, were to have been held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. A. H. Boutwell, pastor, officiating. Members of Lodge 71, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, to which Mr. Mitchell belonged, acted as bearers at the interment in East Lawn Cemetery. The Odd Fellows were also in charge of the church service.
Bearers were: E. J. Carpenter, Claude G. Carr, Myron T. English, George A. Harrington, Clarence W. Lyon and Ira Pearsall.
