Bessie Ludy Bates Davis was born to Alex Bates. She married Edward Franklin Davis on 3/18/1917 in Cooper, TX. She was a loving mother to Alex, Jimmie, Will, Al (Preach) and Ida Mae.
Known as "Grandma", she was a Holy-Ghost Believer and placed her trust in God.
Although Grandma couldn't read or write, she was smart. She knew how much money she should have, etc. She could always tell you a home remedy for a condition.
Grandma's gone to her great reward, but we still miss her.
