Conrad BRUMBAUGH lived in Morrison Cove PA for a while then became one the first to settle in Stark Co Ohio near Hartville on June 12, 1811.

Sometime between the years 1852 and 1854 they moved their family from Ohio to Indiana and settled south of Akron, Indiana in Miami County near the small town of Gilead. According to the 1870 Miami Co. Census, Susannah who was born July 4, 1854 was the first born in Indiana. She is buried in the Gaerte Cemetery under the name Susannah Morgan her second marriage.
