The Huntsville Times, Thursday, January 16, 1997. Kelso, Tenn. Mrs. Lydia Malone Taylor, 98, of Kelso died Wednesday at a Fayetteville hospital. The funeral was to be today at 1 p.m. at Corder’s Crossroads Church of Christ with Clay Henderson officiating. Burial was to be in Campbell Cemetery with Higgins Funeral Home of Fayetteville in charge. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of Corder’s Crossroads Church of Christ. Survivors include four daughters, Louise McCue and Virginia Aders, both of Huntsville, and Ruby Tucker and Sarah Brooks, both of Meridianville; a son, Virgil A. Taylor of Nashville; a sister, Jewell Boyd of Huntsville; and 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to Madison Academy in Huntsville.
