Mrs. Annie B. Coder of Union Township, near Mapleton, died at her home on Friday, May 13, 1949, at 1:25 p.m. She had been in failing health for some time.
She was born in Clay Township, Huntingdon County, on December 27, 1878, a daughter of William H. Greenland and Elizabeth (Shue) Greenland. She was united in marriage to Clarence Coder, who preceded her in death in December, 1929.
She is survived by three children: William Coder, and Irvin Coder, both of Mapleton, and George Coder of Altoona. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother and three sisters: John Greenland of Three Springs, R.D.; Mrs. Samuel Rickabaugh of Todd; Mrs. Ralph Murphy of Saltillo, and Miss Jane Greenland of Huntingdon.
Mrs. Coder was a member of the Church of God at Cherry Grove but took an active interest and attended the Methodist Church at Mapleton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Coder home, conducted by the Rev. Amos Meyers of the Methodist Church. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mapleton, directed by Green's funeral service. Friends may call at the Coder home after 7 o'clock this evening.
