SUMMERFIELD -- Rowena P. Driggers, 81, a homemaker, died Jan. 27, 1995, as the result of an automobile accident.
A native of Oxford, she was a lifetime resident of south Marion County. She was a member of Pedro Baptist Church, first recipient of the J.T. Tinkler Humanitarian Award of South Marion County. According to the family, she was "everyone's granny."
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Lasher, Okahumpa, Lovella Siniard, Glenda Sue Smith and Ann Alman all of Pedro; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Belleview Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
