William Allison, 79, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2011.
He was born August 15, 1932, to the late John and Bessie Allison.
He is also preceded in death by son Furlin Allison, four sisters; Geneva Looney, Iva Mae Witcher, Melveta Murrey, Beatrice Odom and brother Hubert Allison.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Allison of the home, daughter Angela Downing of St. Louis, Mo. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister Joy Obarts of Pocahontas, two brothers; Wayne and Ray Allison both of Cushing, OK.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
