Mrs. Honeycutt, a native of Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Clarence Davidson Barker and Sallie Pauline Rich Barker and the widow of Respie Lee Tyndall and Sebron Honeycutt. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Catherine Barker Britt. She was a former bookkeeper at Pembroke Baptist Church in Hollywood FL; and was a seamstress at Roseboro Manufacturing Co.in Roseboro and taught sewing at Sampson Community College.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Ann Thornton and husband Toby and Beverly Baldwin all of Clinton, Allen Dale Tyndall and wife Ann of Roseboro, R.L. Tyndall and Davis Tyndall and wife Trudy all of Clinton, grandchildren, Dale Helms, Tammy Duffy, Timmothy Thornton, Amy Mitchell, Drew Thornton, Paula Stell, Wendy Ammons, Lee Tyndall-Jones, eighteen great grandchildren, three brothers, Edward Barker and wife Helen Rose, Alton Barker and wife Wilda, Charles Barker and wife Edna all of Clinton, a host of nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Tyndall Broadwell of Knightdale and Eva Tyndall of Dunn.
The family received friends Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 6-8pm at the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton and other times at the home.
The funeral services were held at 3pm, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Harmony Baptist Church.
Burial was made in Roseboro Cemetery.
