Wilson D. Wright, 48, War Veteran Dies

Wilson D. Wright, 48, World War veteran and member of a pioneer Graves county family, died at 9:45 o'clock last night at his home on South Sixteenth street following an illness of complications. He was gassed during the World War and was listed as a disabled veteran since that time.

He was born and reared in Mayfield, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wright.

Funeral services are to be held at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at the home with the Rev. O. A. Marrs, pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge. Interment will be in Maplewood.

War veterans will serve as pallbearers.

Besides his parents, he leave two brothers, Robert Wright, Alliance, O., and Clarence Wright, Detroit, and four sisters, Mrs. Roy Paris, Oxford, Miss., Mrs. L. K. Sager, St. Louis, Mrs. H. H. Lewis, Mayfield, and Mrs. R. H. Boaz, Alhambra, Calif.

Bury Wilson D. Wright In Maplewood Cemetery

Funeral services for the late Wilson Wright, 48, World War veteran, were held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wright, South Sixteenth street, this morning at 10:30. The Rev. O. A. Marrs, of the First Methodist church, was in charge assisted by the Rev. W. H. Horton, of the First Baptist church. Interment was in Mapelwood. Members of the local post of the American Legion served as pallbearers and officiated in the commitment services.
