James E. Jenkins, sportsman, mechanic, husband, father, and grandfather passed away August 31, 2011 in Littleton, Colorado. He was 69, born September 8th, 1941 in Chadwick Missouri. During his youth his likeness to Elvis was uncanny, and he exhibited the "strong and silent" type like his hero John Wayne. He served in the Army during Vietnam era, and learned his trade of vehicle body repair and mechanic.
Survived by his loving wife Nina of 38 years, five siblings, children James, Donald, and Matthew, four grandchildren, and a bulldog named Jake.
Funeral service will be held at Fort Logan on Wednesday September 7th, 2011 at 9:00 A.M., with military honors.
