ADDISON Geraldine Rose Adams Addison, (Ms. Jerrie) age 70, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Addison was a native of Lockport LA, and a long time resident of Mobile County. She was a loving wife of forty eight years to Fred W. (Pete) Addison, mother, and grandmother, which will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fortune and Ida Rose Adams, three sisters; Marie Walker, Cynthia Gros, Shirley Adams, and Michelle Ann Adams, six brothers; Irving, Carlton, Herbert, Gerald, James, and Charles Adams. Mrs. Addison is survived by her husband Fred W. Addison, two children; Dale Addison, and Toye Addison of St. Bernard Parish LA., four sisters; Clara Bell Babin of Denim Springs LA., Mildred (Frank) Guidroz, Joyce (Harvey) Vaughan, and Mary Lee (Wade) Plaisance of Lockport LA., four brothers; Junior Anthony (Rosita) Adams of Lockport LA., Whitney (Donna) Adams of Lockport LA., Michael (Susan) Adams of Raceland, LA. and Harry (Cynthia) Adams of Lockport LA., four grandchildren; Christine Melton, Timothy, Alisia, and Dale Joseph Jr.,(Chip) Addison. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with a visitation Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the funeral home from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens cemetery. Arrangments by: Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, AL.
