Born Jan. 1, 1920, in Newark, the son of George and Annie (Johnson) Anderson, he married Mary Prebil July 9, 1945, in Roswell, N.M.
Ken farmed all of his life, initially near Platteville and the past 50 years in the Sandwich area. He was also an 2nd LT U.S. Army Air Corp WWII AUS

He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Anne (Mark) Eynatten of Chandler, Ariz., and Janice (Patrick) Fullen of Batavia; one son, David (Bonnie) Anderson of Lenior City, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances (Severt) Brown of Newark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; one daughter, Diane Hebel; and one son, Donald Anderson in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home, 13160 W. Route 34, Somonauk, IL 60552, with Tom Eggum officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, DeKalb. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service.
Memorials can be directed to Vitas Hospice or the charity of donor's choice.
