KELLY, LA — Services for Mrs. Catherine Carazza Tarver, 85, of Kelly will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, August 17, 2005 from St. John's Catholic Church in Columbia with Father Dwight De Jesus officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Star Cemetery east of Kelly under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. Tarver was born on June 30, 1920 in Natchez, MS to the union of Adelmo and Blanche Dallalio Carazza and died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena.
She was a retired cafeteria worker at the Kelly Elementary School and a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Columbia.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years: John Allen Tarver; her daughters and sons-in-law: Johnnie and Leslie Fallin all of Kelly, LA; and Mary Ann and Joe Thompson of Olla, LA; her grandchildren: Michelle Fallin Jacobson, Katie Fallin, Crystal Thompson, and LeAnn Thompson; her brother: Louis Carazza of Baton Rouge, LA; and her sister: Margaret Carazza Brady of Newton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Rick West, Russell Fallin, Anders Thompson, Richard Andrews, Mike Kerry, and Chris Thompson.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 PM until 9 PM at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia and from 10 AM until time of services at St. John's Catholic Church, Hwy 165, South, Columbia.
