MARION - Mrs. Idelle L. Davis of Marion died early Wednesday morning at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Mullins Baptist Church, the Rev. Louis McCormick and the Rev. John Murdock of the Connie Maxwell Orphanage officiating.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dennis Carter of Columbia; two sons, Elmer B. Davis of Mullins and Norman E. Davis of Columbia; a brother, Raymond Lee of Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Lane of Mullins, Mrs. Mattie James of Marion and Mrs. Oscar Cook of Lane; and 6 grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis was a daughter of Thomas K. Lee and Sarah Flowers Lee of Marion County. She had been a member of the Connie Maxwell Orphanage staff in Greenwood for six years. She belonged to the Baptist Church in Mullins.
