Ruth Maben Serr, 90, of Lincoln, died Jan. 25, 2007. She was born in Onslow, Iowa, and was a purchasing officer for Palomar Community College. She served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Serr-Owens of Aguanga; son, James Serr Jr. of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services have been held. Interment at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 2640 Glenridge Road, Escondido, California.
