Fulton ---- Minnie S. Wallace, 86, died Wednesday, March 25, 1992, at the Fulton Hospital. She was the widow of E. L. Wallace, who died on July 04, 1987. She was a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
Services were at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at McNeese Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Howard Peak and the Rev. Victor Clayton officiating. Burial was in the New Home Cemetery.
Survivors include seven sons, Cecil Cowart of Scottsboro, Alabama, Dewey Cowart of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Billy R. Wallace of Iuka, Bobby Joe Wallace of Oliver Branch, Nick Wallace of Effingham, IL and Gerald Wallace and Ted Wallace both of Fulton; four daughters, Ruth Philpot of Elsberry, Mo., Wanda Joyce Miller and Peggy Whitt both of Fulton and Shirley Guntharp of Nettleton; one brother, A. C. Cornelison of Scottsboro, Alabama; one sister, Martha Mathis of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Mary Lou Malone of Rhode Island; 24 grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren.
Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
