Jerry K. Milroy

Jerry K. Milroy, 56, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at his residence in Trafalgar.

He was born July 30, 1945, in Indianapolis. His parents were Jay K. and Olga V. (Moritz) Milroy. He married Brenda (Sanders) Milroy on Aug. 12, 1983. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Mathew T.K. Milroy of Trafalgar; two daughters, Krissy Atwood and Jodie Harless, both of Franklin; a brother, Toby V. Milroy of Crothersville; four sisters, Susan "Susie" Graves of Seymour, June McCullough of Kokomo, Sally Kelly of New Albany and Priscilla Grant of Austin; an uncle, Everett "Hap" Moritz; a half brother, Tom Hartenburger of Florida; and six grandchildren. He was a 1963 graduate of Seymour High School.

He was employed for 18½ years by Davidson Industries as a saw operator/maintenance.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as an airplane mechanic. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and National Defense Medal.

The Rev. David McClean will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Wilson St Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Voss & Sons Funeral Home, 316 N. Chestnut St. in Seymour and from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Wilson St Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
