NORRIS Alice Belle, 87, of OKC, was born of Chickasaw heritage January 10, 1908 in Courtney, Ok., previously Indian Territory. She graduated from O.U. in 1928 and taught in Purcell, Ok. She was a dedicated servant to her family and churches which have included Lincoln Terrace Christian, Kelly Avenue Christian and First Christian. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, H. Howard Norris; three sons, Harvey of OKC, Glenn of Buffalo, Mo. and Ethan of Philadelphia, Pa.; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Ben Bourland of Norman; and a sister, Mary Nelle Prier of Lincoln, Ne. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 1995 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with interment at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens. The family suggests memorials be made to a church or charity of choice.
