This cemetery is called the A.P. Adcock Cemetery in the book of DeKalb County Cemeteries by Doris Garrison Gilbert published in 1989. This cemetery is located on the property of David Parsley (owner as of 1989).

Anthony P. Adcock was a lifelong farmer in DeKalb County, Tennessee. He enlisted as a First Sargent in the Confederate Army in Tennessee serving in Company C, 1st Battalion (Colm's) Infantry Regiment of Tennessee and was discharged as Sargent A.P. Adcock.

He was the son of Isaac and Thomason Adcock. He married Eraline Wright in DeKalb County, Tennessee on November 16, 1856. They were married by James Delong Justice of the Peace for DeKalb County, Tennessee. Eraline was the daughter of Christopher and Ann Wright. She is buried at the side of her husband in the A.P. Adcock Cemetery, not the Adcock Cemetery.

To this union were born the following 8 children; all of whom were born in DeKalb County, Tennessee.
1. John C. Adcock (July 6, 1858 – February 11, 1935).
2. Annie Adcock (September 29, 1860 – May 21, 1934); she married in DeKalb County, Tennessee on September 16, 1881 to James H. Tittsworth (April 1856 – April 9, 1924).
3. Christopher Adcock (born about 1862 – 1863).
4. Thomason Adcock (February 6, 1866 – April 21, 1939); she married William "Billie" R. Bain (October 7, 1870 – December 21, 1939).
5. Harriett Adcock (February 11, 1860 – January 3, 1934); She married in DeKalb County, Tennessee on December 21, 1895, John L. Donnell (November 1853 - ?).
6. Ellen Adcock (November 12, 1869 – May 1, 1944); She married William Henry Walls (1866 - 1930).
7. Mary Adcock (she was born about 1871 – 1872, age 8 in the 1880 census for DeKalb County, Tennessee).
8. Bryny Adcock (she was born about 1873 – 1874, age 6 in the 1880 census for DeKalb County, Tennessee).
