WAYNESBORO, Miss., Services for C. H. Pittman, 64, prominent cattleman and farmer of Waynesboro, who died in Wayne General Hospital here Monday morning, following a stroke, were held Tuesday afternoon in Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home. Burial was in Waynesboro Cemetery.
Mr. Pittman was born and reared in Wayne County and had been residing in Waynesboro around 20 years. He was intersted in development of agriculture and engaged in cattle raising for a number of years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clarette Henderson Pittman; four daughters: Mrs. F. E. Whatley and Mrs. J. W. Wilson, both of Waynesboro; Mrs. Eugene Qualls of Pensacola, Fla.; and Mrs. J. C. Little of New Orleans, La; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild; a brother F. P. Pittman, of Jackson, Miss.; and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Curtis, of Clara, Miss.
