Barney Leon Krobot 73,of Texarkana, Texas died Friday August 1,2003 at his home. Mr. Krobot was born February 2,1930 in Texarkana. He was a retired employee of Rinker Construction Co., a member of Buchanan United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Betty Krobot of Texarkana; one daughter, Mary Krobot of Dallas, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Shelley Krobot of Texarkana; two grandchildren, Kyle Krobot and Garrett Krobot of Texarkana; one special friend, Norvel Courtney of Texarkana; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jill Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
