Bio: Parents were Nicholas Anthoine, 2nd (Born Oct 12, 1760 at Marblehead, MA and died Dec 30, 1834 in Windham, ME ) and Anne Pettingell (born 1764, married 1787, died 1849). Father served in Revolutionary War: Enlisted as Private on Oct 1, 1781 in Captain John Reed's Company, Colonel McCobb's Regiment. Raised for defense of Massachusetts. Discharged Dec 1, 1781.
