Dimas A. Abina, age 91, of Dolton. passed away on September 25, 2011, at Community Hospital, Munster.
He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Forces, serving in World War II.
Dimas retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years. He was a dedicated Sergeant-At-Arms of the United Auto Worker's Local 551 Retirees.
Beloved husband of Lois E. (nee Hedberg). Loving father of Steven, Carl, and Regina Abina. Proud grandfather of Christopher, Marie, Timothy, and Angela. Dear brother of Trinidad Zamudio. Fond uncle of Mickey and Cristina Zamudio and also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
