Profession: General Car Foreman for Illinois-Central Railroad

Hobbies: Fishing - he had a family camp at Long Lake near Vicksburg, MS, where he modified an old railroad car and named it "Windy Lodge". Also a ham radio operator using Morse code. He built an elaborate Christmas display in the 1950s with lights and many mechanical moving parts.
