Mrs. Roberts will be remembered for providing a loving and nurturing home for her husband and family. She was honored on NBC's Today Show by Willard Scott on the occasion of her 103rd birthday. She was the oldest member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her two daughters, Margaret Gaddis of Taylors and Jo Ellen Johnson of Clinton; her grandchildren, Michael Gaddis and Grayson Gaddis of Taylors, Elaine Neff of Charleston, Hamp Johnson of Piedmont and Harold Johnson of Hodges; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their appreciation to her caregivers, Avildie Evatt, Gail Letterman and Lizzie Ferguson for their loving care.
