Mrs. Caroline K. Battels, 60, of 810 W. Wayne, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in her home following an extended illness.
Born July 24, 1907, in Lima, she was a daughter of James and Sarah Evea Faye Brennan.
Surviving are her husband, Harley; and two sisters, Mrs. Gilberta Woten of 986 W. Wayne, and Mrs. Eva Siferd of 1120 Essex.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Chiles and Sons-Laman Wayne Street Chapel, with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
