ALVARADO - James Joe Lee, 68, a retired farmer and rancher, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at his home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Venus. Burial: Mountain Peak Cemetery in Midlothian.
Mr. Lee was a member of Venus First Baptist Church. He was a farmer-rancher in Griffith Switch for a long time before he retired.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Joey Eugene and Jeffrey David.
Survivors: Wife, Margaret K. Lee of Alvarado; son, Jim Lee of Venus; brother, Robert Lee of Angleton; sister, Mary Kingston and husband, Jimmy, of Venus; grandchildren, Bill Belt and Jimmy Berryhill; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clayton Kay Funeral Home Alvarado
