Ken West, 80
Kenneth was born on August 27, 1907, to Killus and Veanna (Pyles) West at Herman, Nebraska.
He graduated from Herman High School and lived in Blair and Omaha area prior to moving to Hasting in the 1950's.
He moved to Council Bluffs in 1980.
Kenneth is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Connie) Freestone of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. John (Beverly Jeanne) Shane, Memphis, Tennessee; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; by his brother Woodrow West, Blair, and by his sister Stella Sanderson of San Luis Obispo, California.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 9, 1987 at 10:30 a.m. at the Herman Baptist Church for Kenneth West, who died at the Northcrest Care Center in Council Bluffs on November 6, 1987.
Pallbearers were Robert Rasmusssen, Jim Grother, Jim Freestone, Johnny Shane, Jerry West and Kenneth Talcott.
Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Rev. Larry Orvis officiating.
