News reached here Wednesday morning of the death at Kerrville Tuesday of Mrs Harrison Surber. We have been informed that the funeral and burial will be held here at 10 o'clock. The deceased came with her husband to this section in 1873 and had resided in this section ever since. She was in her 88th year and was a native of Pulaski county. She is survived by two sons; Marquis L Surber of Round Rock and Quincy Surber of Kerrville, besides numerous other relatives.
