PIONEER GENEVA "JUDGE" IS DEAD AT AGE OF 99
Francis R. Cady, oldest member of Star of the Lake Masonic lodge at South Haven, died suddenly last Saturday at the Masonic home at Alma where he had lived for the past ten years. Mr. Cady was nearly 99 years old.
He formerly resided on a farm in Geneva and was a pioneer justice of the peace in that township. Later moving to South Haven he served many years there as justice of the peace and also as county coroner. He was an expert gunsmith and conducted a shop at South Haven. He is survived by one son, F. A. Cady of Gary, Ind.
Funeral services for him are being held at South Haven today under Masonic auspices. Burial will be at Chambers cemetery.
