Born to Everett and Mabel Conine. Ross was born in a one room lean-to located in Indian Terriory outside of Mutual, OK. He served our cuntry in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He has been a member of the VFW Powt 1477 in Deming, NM since 1990. His siblings' are Dwane C. Conine, Roy Conine, Russell Eugene Conine and Rita Conine-White. He married Geraldine Robertson-Conine March 26, 1959, not once but two different times. He lived with her until her death. They had one child, Brenda Lee Conine. He adopted Jerry's son, Jimmie Dean Conine. He also helped Jerry, raise her two older daughter's, Ellen and Teresa Lingg. At one time he was a Ranch Hand on the Cree Ranch outside of Vici, OKla. He enjoyed entering the local rodeo's and trying his hand at bull riding and was a very good calf roper also. He would pratice it every chance he got. Later they purchsed a tavern in Ft. Supply, OK. That adventure didn't last long because Mom says he drank more than he sold. Afterwards he started selling insuranceandard Lifecompany in the state of Oklahoma. He retired in 1989. and then siding. He loved to kick up his heels, which they did many a night when they would go dancing. He died from complications of Emphysema
