Funeral services for Mrs. Florence A. King, 89, were held Saturday at the Winchester Funeral Home, the Rev. Lawrence E. Tenhopen from the Congregatinal Church officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
Mrs. King died on New Years day at Grandvue Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient since Dec. 17.
The former Florence A. Bushy was born at Bangor, Mich., February 5, 1880 and moved to the Charlevoix area from Elk Rapids 75 years ago. She was married to Hugh A. King in 1905, He died Jan. 2, 1941.
The Kings made their home in Ironton before moving to Charlevoix.Mrs. King was a member of the Ironton Congregational Church and the Margaret Circle of the Charlevoix Congregational Church.
She is survived by a son, Floyd, of Detroit; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
