Former Muncie resident, Gary Michael Detrich, 50, Orange Park, Fla., died Wednesday at his home.
Mr. Detrich was born in Muncie and was a 1962 graduate of Central High School. He moved to Florida in 1972 and had been a welder at S&H Machine in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Detrich; a brother, Rodney, and a sister, Amber Evans (husband-Paul), all of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Beech Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Louis Heitz officiating.
There will be no calling.
